Tampa Bay Technology Forum

Tampa Bay Technology Forum is “a catalyst for the inspiration and leadership” designed to “build the technology ecosystem in Tampa Bay.” Tampa has made a couple best tech city lists so far, but we could do better. Tampa Bay is definitely an emerging tech hub. The problem is that it is regionally recognized for its technological sharpness, but everywhere else hasn’t quite caught onto this yet.

Newly appointed Executive Director, Daniel James Scott, has some big ideas for Tampa. He is dedicated to promoting technology in the Bay area.

“Through events, education, networking, advocacy, and philanthropy programs, we provide targeted forums to bring technology and business leaders, investors, government, researchers and educators together.”

Tampa Bay Technology Forum, or TBTF, is working hard to position Tampa into a powerhouse of a tech hub. This membership organization has a plan to accomplish this:

 Into The Darkness

As we continue to grow, we must remember that the others won’t listen to us, they won’t take us seriously, they will go to war with us, but then as long as we persevere through the darkest moments of our blossoming, we will come out on the end more victorious than we could’ve dreamed.
