The innovation of Tampa Bay will be featured this year at the MakerCon—is a community festival celebrating the DIY (Do It Yourself) Inventive Spirit, held each spring, and is a recognized Satellite Event of the USA Science & Engineering Festival and National Robotics Week. Here is a video showcasing some of the most memorable moments from last years’ MakerCon, talking about the importance of the Maker’s movement and the importance of education in these new and emerging fields.
Check out what Sun Times said about the event next month: Highly valuable workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs, such as patent development, inventive process, and programing will be available. This event isn’t just for the tech savvy; everyday inventors without a technological background are encouraged to attend and show off their ideas. Anyone with an interest in emerging fields such as drones, 3D printing, or animation would not want to miss this educational experience.
